Before the advent of modern mining techniques in the second half of the 20th Century, Parral Mining District, which also includes the neighbouring Santa Barbara and San Francisco del Oro mining Districts, was home of many Silver, Lead and Zinc mines with a rich history. For hundreds of years before the Spanish exploration in Mexico, silver had been mined in this region. The city of Parral gained its wealth from mines like the La Prieta, Veta Colorada and the La Palmilla. La Palmilla mine was owned by the family of Pedro Alvarado, who were wealthy enough to offer to pay off Mexico's national external debt in the early 1900s. As history says, Juan Rangel de Biezma picked up a rock on the Cerro la Prieta (La Prieta Hill), licked it and stated "There is a mineral deposit here." The La Prieta mine produced silver for 340 years. This is often recognized as the pivotal point in Parral's history, defining it as a major mining settlement. Influenced by the historic presence of Spaniards, the city is recognized as one of the most European-fashioned cities in Mexico.
In its heyday, the town had a population of about 30,000, mostly immigrant miners. The district has produced more silver than any other area of comparable size and has important historical associations with the early economic development of both Mexico and the southwest United States.

The project covers an approximate area of 845 hectares, distributed over fifteen Mining Concessions. Access agreements have been signed with the two farms that have the surface rights, for a period of five years.
Kingsmen has successfully consolidated the fragmented ownership in a historic brownfield mining district where local communities are fully supportive of mineral exploration.
The Las Coloradas brownfield project is located within the north-east portion of the Central Mexican Silver Belt, in the southeastern corner of the Parral mining district, approximately 40 kilometres east of the underground San Francisco de Oro and Santa Barbara active mining districts. Major world-class mining projects are currently being explored in the district and its proximities; Veta Colorada (Endeavour) in Parral, Cordero (Discovery Silver Corp.), 35 kms north of Parral, Los Gatos (Electrum), 100 kms, north of Parral. GoGold Resources Inc is currently processing historic mine tailings in the city of Parral. Asarco historically exploited the Las Coloradas mineralization, which is classic silver-zinc-lead- gold hosted in high-grade epithermal veins similar to the Santa Barbara and San Francisco de Oro mining districts. Currently, two principal NW-trending vein systems, Soledad and Soledad II are recognized. The lengths of the vein systems are variable and outcrop from 50 m to 500 m with discontinuous outcrops along 3 km. Skarn and porphyry mineralization have also been recorded in the project by the Mexican Geological Survey.
Kingsmen Resources is the first junior to consolidate/explore this district. There is a seven-year option to earn 100%, no significant payments until year 5, total purchase of USD$2,140,000. While major mining companies have worked in the area (Coeur Mining, Electrum Group), no one company has controlled all the claims collectively. Kingsmen Resources works with the locals and the communities fully support mineral exploration. The mine has similar geology to the underground Santa Barbara and San Francisco del Oro mining districts, where vein mineralization persists to depths of 600 - 1,000 meters. The surface mapping and sampling is complete and the plans are for IP/R, magnetics & diamond drilling.
Scott Emerson: President, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & Director - Mr Emerson has worked with several publicly-traded companies in the resource and technology sectors. His roles have included senior management positions and directorships responsible in areas of finance, business development, strategic planning and corporate restructuring. Mr. Emerson was involved with International Mahogany (Jolu Mine) and was the founding President of Golden Peaks Resources, operating in South America for 18 years. Mr. Emerson has extensive experience dealing with the financial, regulatory, legal and accounting issues that are relevant in the investment community.
Nick Demare: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & Director - Mr. Demare is the President of Chase since 1991. Chase is a private company which provides accounting, management, securities regulatory compliance and corporate secretarial services to companies listed on the Toronto and TSX Venture Exchanges and their predecessors. He also serves as an officer and/or director of a number of public companies listed on the Toronto and TSX Venture Exchanges. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia and is a member in good standing with the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia.
Rodney B. Johnston: Director - Mr. Rodney Johnston, FCPA, FCA, retired from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP after serving 35 years with the firm in British Columbia, with the final 25 years as a partner. Mr. Johnston was previously the President and CEO of a private REIT investing in U.S. commercial real estate. Mr. Johnston has had a long track record of providing taxation and financial advisory services to businesses in a variety of industries involved with financings in the capital markets. Mr. Johnston has also had extensive experience in advising mining companies throughout his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Johnston holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia and is a member in good standing of the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia.
Kieran Downes: Director - Mr. Kieran Downes is a Professional Geologist with over 40 years diversified experience in gold, base metals, uranium and diamond exploration. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Geology from University College Galway (1971) and a Ph.D. in Geology from Dublin University (1974). He was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Institute for Industrial Research & Standards, Dublin (1974-1977). He is a Registered Professional Geologist in British Columbia and president of Tristia Ventures Corp., a company providing services in mineral exploration, property valuation and geochemistry.
Mark J. Pryor: Director - Mr. Pryor is a distinguished geologist with a 40-year track record of successfully advancing multiple precious metal projects, including a position at the Electrum Group.
He has played a key role in the development of several brownfield projects, including the Los Gatos Mine, located in the central Mexican silver belt.
His extensive career includes roles with major mining companies such as Electrum Group, Anglo American, Placer Dome, and Antofagasta Minerals.
Carlos Garza: Director - Mr. Carlos Garza is an Industrial and Systems Engineer. Mr. Garza's activities have been mostly dedicated to providing consulting services. As a principal in a mining consulting company, Mr. Garza is involved in numerous exploration projects in Mexico and is focused on the acquisition, maintenance, and management of mining concessions, community relations, operational processes of mineral exploration. He is also directly involved in production, processing, and commercialization of minerals.
